Edging towards summer

Happy mother's day to all moms out there! I got up and presented my mom with a card that my sister and I both signed. I even added a mock line from our dog. "Happy mother's day. Where's my treat? --Miko" After all, he's like her son. Dogs are so human somtimes.

It was sort of nice out today, compared to what we've been getting. It's been a crappy week, and will still be raining all week. We had a great barbeque today (mmm, time to get a few pounds back on lol), and I followed my mom to Canadian Tire to help her get some gardening items. We got a few tomato plants for our garden.

Then while paying, I noticed something sort of weird. It was a sign stating the warrenty policy on trees, flowers and plants. Apparently, if whatever you plant dies under proper plant care, you can bring back the plant along with your receipt and they'll reimburse you. Ok so... if my tomato plant dies, I can bring it back there and demand my $1.84 back? How will they know it was "under proper plant care" and that I didn't accidently kill it? Anyhoo...what's new since the last post? After more than a month of 'testing', I was hired at the photo studio; the day I officially started work, they told me they couldn't afford to hire me. So frustrating! I've more or less given up job hunting for now, at least for a 'real' job. I'll be working at a summer camp starting June 26. That'll be cool job, one with not too much work and I get to spend time outdoors- I loooveeee the sun. I've decided to take a class to kill time before then. Nothing too brain-wrenching, just theatre. That'll give me a place to unwind, stop being my crabby self, and have some fun.
