Psychotic comp

If I was asked who the most insane member of my family is, I would have to answer "my computer."

This computer evidently hates me. Actually, all coms hate me; I don't think I could survive with job that requires I work with computers. It seems like every computer I sit at won't cooperate with me.

The one I am writing this from is currently recovering from multiple viruses. Now, it is experiencing logon problems, particularly from my desktop. MSN messenger decided to play a few games and kick me off it several times.

While I'm on the com subject, I just noticed something weird. I have a guestbook at the end of this page (don't know why I put it, there's really no point.) I always intended to remove it because it just gave space to spammers to promote their xxx sites. I had guestbook entries that read "I like this site! Check out (site) it's got teen **** etc. You get the idea. Now today, I checked to view my guestbook, all those spam entries were gone.

I'm just wondering how that happened. Are there such thing as 'guestbook administrators'? Whoever did this...Thanks a bunch!!! Just let me know who you are and how you did it!

Happy Marijuana Day

I've got a piece of advice a lot of people can use: When you ride an escalator and reach the end, GET OFF FAST!

Especially if I'm behind you.

Today I encountered two people who seemed to think that they are able to vanish through the floor along with the steps.

On my first escalator ride of the day I stood behind a man who took FOREVER stepping off at the end. I almost crashed into him and clawed him with my nails.

Later on in the day, I was on another one, this time behind a women who didn't seem to realize that this was the end. This time, I nearly stabbed her with my umbrella.

By the way, in case you didn't know, today is a holiday I can't really celebrate- it's World Marijuana Day.

Hey, that may explain these people.

On other note I may just be coming down with a case of bad luck again. Something bad has been happening almost everyday this week. On Monday, I arrive home to find nobody there, on the one day that I forget my key.

Yesterday, my computer went bonkers, and now a few program components are missing.

Today, I decided it was warm enough to not wear my winter coat. I had trouble zipping my spring jacket, so I didn't. But later in the afternoon it became colder, and I forced it to zip. And now that it was zipped, it stayed that way. To the amusement of my friends, I couldn't unzip it all night long.

So today I basically ran around all day and tried not to feel stoned during dinner with my friends.

A friend of mine is telling me that the reason I get all this bad luck is because people are jealous of me.

I say I'm gonna be superstitious, but I'll blame Marijuana day.

Other than that...

As our last newscast- a really fun joke newscast- wrapped, it dawned on me that this was my last day as a university student.

Weird thought. You know how on online forms and questionnairs you're often asked to select your occupation? Well I've always put "student." If I were filling one of those right now, I'd be forced to check "other."

No more paper deadlines, endless hours of theorizing, and dragging nights in front of the computer; no more suffering.

I'm free!!!!! Now I know how that Genie in Aladdin must have felt.

Ok ok, it wasn't that bad. I'm just overworked and relieved to be out of school. I liked school and everything, but it's been too long. I'm the sort of person that dreads consistancy. I could never do something that requires a strict routine, I'd get bored.

So now that I'm free, I'm going to go bouncing all over the place! Stay tuned for more Kim adventures!

Catch me while you can

Whoa, about time for a new post!

Spring is here and it feels like it - for now. For the past couple of days, I've woken up with the sun shining right though my window, which does motivate me to get out of bed. I've traded my poor, stuggling-to-stay-together winter boots for an assortment of lighter, trendier shoes. It's been a rainy weekend. Rain doesn't usually excite me, but I can't complain about those ones that will get rid of the snow. And I finally feel like I'm almost really over that cold I've had for two months (yes, that long).

You must be wondering where I've been all this time. I've been everywhere. Life's on a roll, and it's pacing up. With only one more week of school left, I've been juggling between schoolwork and slacking off. I figured it's about time I take it easy a bit.

I should be finishing at least one of the three assignments I have due this week, but instead I'm blogging this just for you readers.

Anyway, last Easter weekend my friend Kevin came to visit from Toronto. We spent almost the whole weekend catching up. It's really funny how many things change so fast in such a short period of time. We had a nice group outing re-playing our classic Boys vs. Girls bowling tournament like the old times.

So those of you who think I've dissappeared, don't worry I'm still around- for now.
