Mocha-choco-lata-ya-ya

Deee da dee dee eeeee!

This is what I pretty much sounded like over the past few days. Either I'm going nuts with boredom, frustrated with something, or just really hyped on coffee, as I am right now.

My pal Kevin came down from Toronto, so it was the usual hang out day. So this afternoon we met up with our friend Chantal for coffee. I ordered a white mocha - read chocolate, caffeine, sugar, whipped cream. It's insane how much of a sweet tooth I have.

Anyway, so we were sitting outside of a second cup, enjoying the nice weather and chatting away when something really weird happened. I noticed a really weird-looking somewhat old lady come up to behind Chantal and give her this weird look. I figured she was a bit crazy, because trust me, she did not look normal at all. She was sort of a bag lady, lugging several bags camping-style. So I just ignored her, because that's what usually makes them go away right? Suddenly, just as Chantal turned around for a second, the crazy lady spat on her. Right in the face too. Then she turned around and continued down the street like nothing happened.

Yes, Montreal people can be C.R.A.Z.Y. At least I hope that woman was crazy, cuz I can't imagine why someone normal would do such a thing. That was just the weirdest thing I've seen in the past few months.

So while drinking coffee, chocolate came up as part of the conversation. I'm not sure how, it's been such a nutty day, but it did. More specifically 70% cocoa chocolate. Have you all tried that? If you haven't, get some. Apparently, it's almost a fact that women and gay men are most likely to enjoy it - straight men will most likely hate it. We did a test on Kevin, and the theory proved itself right on him- I've never seen such a bad reaction to chocolate from anyone! But it is strong stuff, and just for the record, dark chocolate is actually good for your health- it contains a compound that keeps cholesterol from gathering in blood vessels, reduces the risk of blood clots, and slow down the immune responses that lead to clogged arteries. Don't beleive me? Read this.

On with the day again. We were off to meet bunch other friends for dinner, when they called and said they were going to be a bit late because one of them got into a car acccident. Now this is where I get to rant about two crazy people in one day. The guy didn't have a car accident- he just tried to pull a simple maneuvre ( I think it was passing another car.) Somehow, the driver of the car got terribly upset, got out of his car and started yelling at our friend. The crazy guy then pulled out a shovel an started to beat our friend's car with it, damaging one set of the back lights. Whoa man, like what's going on? In front of tons of witnesses too.

So there you have it. Coffee, chocoate, and whacked out people. What a day.

Wake me up.

My dog is so cute. He's sleeping on me as I write this. I get home last night at 11pm after having Easter dinner at Sean's, and my family had already gone to bed. I go up quietly, trying not to stomp or make the floor creak, when the dog hears me and runs out of my sister's room when he sleeps, gets all excited and starts jumping on me and licking me. I played with him for a bit - it's so funny how everyone talks to him like he's a person- then say, "Miko, va faire dodo." So he just stops, turns around, and goes back to his bed. Haha. I wish kids were that obediant.

Anyway, Happy Easter everyone! I know I haven't posted in awhile, but that's just because I don't want to bore you with stories of my uneventful life. It really is getting sort of riduculous. It's already mid-April (how did it come so fast?) and believe it or not, I still haven't gotten a job. The radio station I did an interview with in Ontario finally got back to me with a rejection letter. I've done three tests at a photo studio because they wanted to see how I work before they hire me. I thought I did pretty well, it's nothing new to me. But still, I only got the vague answer that yes I did pretty well, but they can't hire anyone full-time for the moment. They were supposed to get back to me about being part-time a few days ago, but still haven't. What? I hate it when people can't make decisions. I'm beginning to think that even though I am picky when it comes to jobs, I better just take anything, simply because I'm getting broke and need to get a life.

Yeah, the real world kinda sucks. When I was a student, I didn't really need to worry about anything but schoolwork. Now, it's time to have some fun. I'm gonna have to get back into acting and dancing and also back into shape this summer. Even though I had the time, I've been so lazy at working out this winter. I don't know why, but I just wasn't in the mood. Someone should have shook me about that one. I also gotta try to get a cheap car (I'm so sick of public transportation) and take some trips this summer.

That's my rant for today, written down for all of you witness and watch me make or break it. I'm gonna go and play with the dog now.

cool quiz

This is a really cool quiz. Try it. The questions have absolutely nothing do with love or marriage or anything. In fact, it asks you about animals!

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was insecure and in constant need of reassurance.

Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything... no secrets.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.
